In order to cultivate students' innovative consciousness and practical ability, enrich their campus cultural life, enhance their aesthetic concept and collective sense of honor, implement quality-oriented education, and highlight the characteristics of Anqing Foreign Language School, in this enchanting October with the autumn sun and the autumn breeze, our school ushered in the 18th Pumpkin Art Festival.
To be concrete, on the early morning of 30th October, teachers, students and parents walked into Anqing Foreign Language School with high expectations. To begin with, the various exhibition areas have been properly arranged like a warm host to greet each guest. In the exhibition area, students' paintings, calligraphy and pumpkin carvings of different shapes attracted a great many visitors with each piece of work fully displaying students' intelligence and ingenuity. On the other hand, the ‘English Street’ was also very busy where the students brought their own handicrafts or second-hand items to the flea market to sell, share and exchange. The whole process of English communication not only enabled the students to improve their English expression and practical application ability in life experience, but also trained their interpersonal skills. Additionally, in the game area, there were lots of interesting games, such as pinball, marksman, trigram, ring and so on, which also made the students very happy; Besides, the wonderful artistic performances on the playground let applause, laughter and cheers rise one after another; Furthermore, some students used cosplay costumes to dress up as their favorite characters to disperse and shuttle around campus, giving people the illusion of traveling through time and space. Therefore, the campus was full of laughter, filled with a festive atmosphere. Thus, the whole campus became a sea of joy.
In conclusion, the annual Pumpkin Festival not only enriched students' extracurricular life connotation, let them enjoy different cultural customs, but also further showcased the outstanding style and good school spirit of our students to the outside world!
